KITCHEN RENOVATION

Where functionality and modern design come together. This home is proof that even when space is tight, amazing and flexible family spaces can be achieved. We were contracted to increase the size and useability of the kitchen area, a space which had restricted functionality but overlooked the front courtyard of the property. We successfully created more space and greater functionality by removing an internal wall and incorporating precision curved cabinetry. Sleek lines coupled with modern design has given the kitchen a completely new look and feel. The owners were beyond pleased with the renovation, they invited Lingwood Construction back to transform their ensuite, bathroom and laundry.

HERITAGE RENOVATION

Renovating a heritage property with a rich history is no easy feat, there must be a balance between the old and the new, whilst paying homage to the property. The client wanted to increase the space of the original Grade 1 heritage listed Mill and bring the interior into the 21st century but keep the existing working Mill in situ. Restoring original features takes considerable time and care. For this particular project the original roof line had to remain the same, but we were able to achieve an extension by sloping the roof.

Building with reclaimed bricks, limestone and clay tiles allowed for the restoration to pay tribute to its history and were utilised to blend sympathetically with the original. The interior of the home was completely renovated to bring it into the 21st Century. Boasting huge exposed pine trusses, the family were beyond happy with the overall result of the new look and layout.

HAMPTONS FARMHOUSE

We were contracted to project manage the build of this stunning Hampton’s inspired property, under the direction of a different construction company at the time. We were able to oversee the entire process of the project from blueprint to build, with the client’s wish at front of mind the entire time; “build our dream home”.

From the entry, to the free-flowing layout and stunning finishes, a photo doesn’t do this award-winning home enough justice. The client’s fabulous taste shines throughout and brings a taste of The Hamptons home to the State’s South West. They were so impressed they invited Lingwood Construction to build their workshop inspired by the same style of their Hamptons home.

BATHROOM RENOVATION

A picture paints a thousand words, but modern and memorable are just two words that come to mind when reflecting on the renovation of this stunning bathroom. Our mission was to increase the size and functionality of the homes only bathroom, while also giving it a stunning makeover. The client was detailed and specific in what they wanted to achieve, from fixtures and fittings to towel rails and tiles.

We removed walls, stripped the floor and added windows to increase natural light in the space. The end result was a sleek, sophisticated and unique bathroom with modern finishes and stunning natural light. Funky floor tiles, modern accessories, even a very particular toilet request; everything was achieved for this client.

“Nothing was too much trouble for Lingwood. Their tradesmen were courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Charlie was on site daily and we achieved our dream bathroom. Thank you, thank you”

NEW HOME BUILD

This stunning Scottish highland inspired home was a truly unique build for Lingwood Construction. The owners had a detailed vision in their minds of what they wanted their home to look and feel like. Following a disconnect with their previous builder, they had lost the passion for building and were happy to see the back end of the project and just sell the common home to a new owner. That’s where we came in.

Transforming and building homes is our passion, and client relationships are at the forefront of everything we do. Working closely with the owners, we were able to reignite the excitement they once had for their dream home and complete the new build on time and within budget. Take a step back in time and across to the other side of the world the moment you step inside this breathtaking Scottish inspired home. The internal walls are covered with unique stonework; even the fixtures and fittings pay homage to highland design from the lounge to the bathrooms. It’s bold, memorable and a home fit for the rightful heir to the throne of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.

COMMERCIAL RENOVATION

With Harvey Water relocating to its new premises, we were contracted to give the existing building a complete overhaul in preparation for its new look and function. The commercial renovation included the removal of large garage doors previously used for drive-in storage and transform the large area into a multi-classroom TAFE.

New electrical wiring and plumbing were installed within the property, making it ready and compliant for the final fit-out. With a bright lick of paint and pops of pastel on the walls and carpets, the building was given a new lease on life and transformed into a functional and modern local learning facility.

COMMERCIAL FIT OUT

With the framework complete and the renovation nearing the end of the building phase, it was time to add a touch of personality to the upgraded space with a commercial fit-out. The former Harvey Water storage and office facility was transformed into a bright, light and practical multi-classroom TAFE facility. The fit-out included upgraded bathrooms and amenities including a stylish kitchenette with a tiled splash-back. Commercial bathrooms have different demands compared to domestic bathrooms due to high frequency usage. In order to avoid costly breakdowns and to minimise future disruptions, we only install proven, reliable, quality fixtures.

The fully carpeted and fresh classrooms were also fitted with increased computer capabilities (CAT6). With the walls painted white, and a bright pastel pop of colour, the new facility is inviting and inspiring as a learning space.
